- Identify potential vendors and evaluate their products and services to determine the best fit for the organization's needs.
- Negotiate contracts and prices with vendors to obtain the best possible terms and prices for the organization.
- Ensure that all procurement activities are in compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Work closely with other departments within the organization to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Manage relationships with vendors and provide ongoing support to ensure that all contractual obligations are met.
- Monitor vendor performance and take corrective action as necessary.
- Continuously monitor the market for new vendors and products that may be of interest to the organization.
- Capable of making market surveys, maintaining vendor banks and preparation of WOS/POS/CSS.
- Coordination with accounts department for vendor purchase follow up.
