Executive - Quality Assurance

- Check raw materials, packing materials and trading materials for quality and send the sample to lab for analysis

- Update all the records related of quality assurance department.

- Check cleaning and sanitation schedule of all department for its implementation and updation

- Check whether UV system is on and ensure that the production department is using the UV treated water for production

- Check whether equipments and machineries cleaning & sanitation are done on daily basis as per the procedure

- Check washing of cans and caps are properly done as per procedure

- Manage people who are working in Housekeeping team and allot the work to the team

- Check whether production and packing departments are doing their job in a hygienic manner

- Give instructions to labors if they involve doing unsanitary activities

- Make arrangements to carry out fumigation once in a week

- Make sure that the drainage lines are cleaned properly on daily basis in wet production and packing areas

- Make sure that the toilet is cleaned and sanitized properly on regular basis

- Make sure that the raw water sump and overhead tanks are cleaned as per the planned schedule

- Visit Third Party Units and assess them whether they follow hygiene and sanitation related system when they procedure products.

- Ensure all third party units are producing the safe and quality products and supply the same.

- Visit third party units and inspect the plant for hygiene & sanitary conditions

- Check whether the products being produced by TPU are meeting up with our specification (Salt, acidity, brix & hygienic packing) set for the product

- Check the processing activities and monitor the same to get quality products

- Check the processing equipments for cleaning

- Inspect whether the food handlers are following proper personal hygiene

- Inspect whether the products produced are stored in a proper storage conditions

- Check whether they follow the food safety systems

- Check whether they are holding FSSAI License or not.

- Ensure that the Chemistry lab is cleaned and sanitized on daily basis

- Prepare solutions for doing analysis

- Standardize chemicals

- Cross check the results of batches

- Update records on daily basis

- Ensure that the Junior chemist is analyzing the parameters as per procedure

- Ensure that the batches are approved if the results are meeting up with the specification

- Report any deviation observed in the results and discuss with Executive QA / Manager QA for taking decision on the same

- Report the status of finished goods and get it signed by the Exe. QA and Asst. Manager QA on daily basis

- Send the requirements of chemistry lab to Manager- QA if necessary

- Make arrangements to analyze the brine samples immediately after receiving it and report the results to Manager QA

- Ensure all the parameters mentioned in specifications are checked and analyzed for all the raw materials and finished goods

- Maintain the stock report of glasswares and chemicals

- Make sure that the water samples are analyzed for chemical parameters on daily basis

- Check control samples for whether it is labeled with proper information and maintain it properly on regular basis
