Able Design & Manufacturing - Senior Engineer - Project CFD (5-6 yrs)
Desirable::
i. Experience in working with CFD++ and Ansys Fluent CFD software packages and TecPlot, Paraview, EnSight post-processing tools.
ii. Good hands on experience in ICEMCFD, Pointwise and other popular grid generators.
iii. Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering in relevant field of specialization.
Roles and responsibilities:
The work involves advanced CFD simulations using high fidelity numerical approaches in aircraft design cycle.
i. CFD analyses for aircraft aerodynamics comprising of:
a) Pre-processing of computational task using standard commercial software packages e.g. Ansys ICEMCFD, Pointwise, GridPro, etc.)
b) CFD simulations using commercially available and in=house software packages, e.g. CFD++, Ansys-Fluent, SU2, VISP3D. etc.
c) Post processing of results in different ways and creating graphical representations.
d) Documentation of data analysis
ii. High fidelity CFD simulations involving DES/LES of real life design problems
iii. Store trajectory analyses
iv. Aircraft performance analysis using in-house tools
v. CAD support on numerical geometries and model preparation using CATIA
