We are looking for an AV Sales Engineer to join our team! AV Sales Engineer will collaborate with the sales team to secure pre-sales and post sales requirements. An AV sales engineer will be responsible for designing and deploying Audio Video solutions. This role will require you to work directly with Customers, Sales, Project Management and Field Technicians for the North American Market.

Sales Engineer :

- Research and design audio-visual and networking solution from a set of construction drawings or a site survey

- Communicate with customers via various channels such as telephone and emails to resolve technical questions and propose optimal solutions

- Evaluate drawings, site surveys, existing estimates to determine the project cost estimate

- Collaborating with estimation team to create timely and accurate proposals in DTools

- Outbound Calling (cold and warm) through lead generation to establish new, high quality opportunities with prospective customers and contacts.

- Use excellent verbal skills to engage customers in conversation and effectively determine needs and requirements.

Requirements :

- Ability to read & understand cabling pull schedules, floor plans, ceiling plans, riser diagrams & line diagrams

- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management

- Strong knowledge/experience of signal flow, audio visual signal types, connector types & terminations

- Strong knowledge/experience with control/automation system: Crestron, AMX and Extron

- A good methodical approach to tasks, ability, and interests to learn new technologies

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Masters degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or any correlating degree

- 0-2 years of experience. Freshers may apply

- Ability to organize activities and work will in a team environment

- Basic knowledge of networking, fiber optics, cabling infrastructure required

- Experience and certifications with AV manufactures and equipment
