Hiring for MNC chemical Co manufacturing site at PUNE and Head office MUMBAI

Job description :

Seeking a highly organized, hardworking and self-motivated Administrative Associate to manage imports and exports, toll manufacturing activities, and raw material ordering. This role will also serve as a back-up to customer service. This role will report to the Sourcing and Supply Chain Manager in India. This role will work closely with China, the US, and Europe to meet the import and export needs of the regions. This role is located in Mumbai / Pune, India.

We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, can work with little guidance, considers themselves a quick learner and is a good team player.

Works well with internal and external partners, treats external tollers as partners, not just suppliers.

Education and experience required :

Total exp. : 4+ years

- High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor or associate degree preferred

- With experience in Supply Chain /Sales/ Logistic; relevant field or Graduate with Supply chain as subject

- Min 3-5 yr. experience/or Supply Chain Experience preferable in chemical industry / manufacturing Industry

- ERP experience is required and mastery of using windows office tools, such as Excel, word, etc.

- SAP experience will be added advantage

- Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency

Language skills :

- Good command on English (written & oral)

- Ability to speak Local language ( Hindi and Marathi) will be added advantage

The responsibilities include :

- Ordering raw materials for production at toll manufacturers

- Ordering raw materials for re-packaging at FTZ warehouse in India

- Scheduling shipment/delivery of raw materials to toll manufacturers

- Issuing purchase orders to toll manufacturers

- Provide tollers with ancillary items needed (labels, pallets, etc.)

- Monitor production at toller and manage schedule changes

- Receive goods in SAP

- Complete all SAP transactions for raw material and product moves and verify accuracy at each step in the supply chain

- Purchase order placements

- Purchase order receipts

- Process order confirmations

- Delivery creations

- Vendor stock relief

- Quality data entry

- Track and reconcile vendor invoices

- Schedule and manage all moves of intermediates and finished goods between toller and company's Plant or warehouse (physically and in SAP)

- Perform physical inventory count at vendor location and off-site warehouses and manage accuracy (reconcile)

- Work directly with customer service to quote deliveries and set up customer shipments from toll manufacturers

- Work with Business Supply Chain to implement SAP material masters

- Serve as back-up for customer service, including communications with customers and order entry, order shipment

Sales and Sales support :

- Understanding of sales function

- Supports the Sales for achieving the targets

- Supports by checking sales forecast VS orders received.

- Supports the sales team with relevant information on customers.

Logistic Activities :

- Co-ordinate for export and import shipment clearance with service providers

- Check document and work closely with Accounts team for document storage, filing

- Review customer master data and updating existing, after checking the validity of supporting materials.

Quality System : Actively fulfils the requirements of ISO system and supports a constant process improvement.
