Job Description :

1) Overall Civil In-charge of Big Steel Industry Projects execution along with day to day civil maintenance jobs.

2) Strong leadership and team management skills.

3) To conduct daily, weekly and monthly project status meetings with the project team and also contractors.

4) Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

5) Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

6) Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

7) Shall be responsible to coordinate with the Designer, Architectural & other consultants

8) Shall be leading/heading the entire team deployed on the project for execution

9) Responsible to assign tasks to the site staff to execute the work as per drawings specification and engineering standards.

10) Preparation of financial requirements / fund flow chart.

11) Shall be responsible to deliver the entire project with quality and in scheduled time.

12) Successful execution of projects.

13) Adhering to quality standards, and delivering projects within budget and on time.

14) Lead and manage civil construction projects, including planning, organizing, and controlling project activities.

15) Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to project timelines and financial targets.

16) Dealing with project activities, right from conceptualization to execution, involving finalization of technical specifications, scheduling, manpower planning, procurement, vendor development, progress monitoring, site management, etc.

17) Evaluation of Bill of Quantities & Cost Estimates

18) DPR (Detailed Project Reports), BID documents & Tender Evaluation Report.

19) Assist in all technical issues in design and construction phase.

20) Development of tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives.

21) Resolve other civil engineers- design and development issues.

22) Coordinating with employer, consultants, site engineers and other staff.

23) Organize all activities at site and guide in resolving bottlenecks to achieve desired rate of progress

24) Overall responsibility of construction / supply works contracts on site including all technical & financial matters with excellent Leadership quality.

25) Periodical review of all construction activities and all civil maintenance works with contractors, monitor and review progress of works & services for timely completion all Project and Maintenance works.

26) Develop & lead multi-disciplinary teams for Project execution and maintenance jobs in compliance with contract provisions, relevant Codes, client guidelines and all safety rules and regulations

27) Knowledge on MS-Office, AutoCAD and MS Project software.

28) Knowledge on SAP MM Module.

29) Knowledge on Critical Path Method (CPM) and Bar Chart Planning

Qualification : BE/B. Tech- Civil with more than 15 - 20 years of experience
