AGM - Non Production Purchase (13-20 yrs)
Company : Leading Automotive Manufacturing MNC. Company into Construction Equipment / Heavy Earth moving /Manufacturing industry / Automobile / Auto components.
Position : AGM - Non Production Purchase
Reporting to : Head - Non Production Purchase
Base location : Vadodara, Gujarat
Qualifications : BE preferred / MBA Supply Chain will be added advantage
Exp. - 13 - 20 years
Key Objectives :
1. Effectively manage the Procurement of Indirect/ Capital Purchasing on Pan India level components
2. Responsible for managing procurement based on Zero Based Cost Estimations, SLA management with proper alignment.
3. Experience in Managing Green Field Projects purchasing.
Major Deliverables :
1. Approve the supplier selection & pricing. Responsible for SLA and contracts with indirect suppliers.
2. Work with team to identify and realize savings across all spend categories and procurement levers. Build organizational capabilities to sustain procurement gains over the long term.
3. Manage & coordinate with vendors, ensure continuous improvement in vendor management.
4. Approve & manage PO, schedules vendors & spare vendors.
5. Manage indirect spend related to HR/ Admin, Facility, Marketing, Hotels, Office equipment, Leasing etc.
6. Good at Civil and Electrical cost estimations
7. Sourcing of New Vendors and Operating on IT enabled platforms .
8. Finalise machining center and laser purchases.
Essential Attributes :
1. Strong knowledge of Indirect procurement process and supplier base.
2. Strong SLA costing knowledge.
3. Well versed with IT enabled tools and auction platforms.
4. SAP proficient in MM Module.
5. Experience with Commercial Vehicle /off road vehicle industry; heavy engineering industry preferred
6. Good negotiation & Communication skills.
7. Strong Interpersonal skills & ability to lead a team.
