Job Description Urgent Opening for AGM - Supply Chain for a leading Manufacturing Company.

Location : Bangalore

Eligibility Criteria :

Qualification :

B.E./B.Tech (Electrical and Electronics / Electronics and communications) with12 Years of experience (OR) Diploma (Electrical and Electronics / Electronics and communications) with 20 Years experience are Eligible.

Experience :

1. Minimum of 12 years in Supply Chain in Electronics Manufacturing industry

2. At least 8 years in EMS industry having sourced materials for variety of customers.

3. Comprehensive understanding of commercial laws applicable in India

4. Procurement from overseas suppliers under all applicable laws & commercial terms

5. Exposure to scientific management tools in Supply Chain Management.

6. Working experience in ERP environment

7. Six Sigma -- Black Belt / Green Belt

8. Rich working experience under ISO 9001, EMS ISO 14000 & TS16949 / IPC / ESD Standards

Desirable :

1. Manufacturing experience at least 2 years in PCB Assembly -- Automotive electronics

Responsibilities :

1. Establish local & global vendor base for Electronic, Mechanical and electromechanical components / intermediates / sub-assemblies for EMS division.

2. Strategic sourcing of commodities / components

3. Build Strong supplier performance management systems

4. Cost reduction through sourcing

- of alternative materials.

- from alternative vendors.

- Lead time reduction.

- Credit terms management.

- And through other lean initiatives

5. Improve the inventory turns and ensure cash flow at optimum levels.

6. Conversant with all relevant commercial laws around taxation, excise duty, service tax, contract act and export/import

7. Interact with vendors on process audits, product evaluation & customer complaints

8. working with R&D / Quality / Manufacturing in Vendor evaluation / assessment to establish quality requirements from suppliers / vendors and providing inputs for improvements

9. Exposure on Logistics / warehouse/ Exports.

Skills :

1. Knowledge around Core Tools Like APQP,PPAP,FMEA,SPC and MSA, Poke yoke, SQC- 7 QC tools

2. Knowledge on SMT, ROHS, Wave soldering and PCB Assembly and Module Assembly

3. At least 2 years of experience as internal auditor ISO / EMS / TS
