Role Description

Responsible for delivering glass quality as per specification and requirement

- To manage smooth & efficient functioning of Raw material section, Batch House operations and Colour change jobs

Responsibilities :

Heads KRA (Key Result Areas) KPI (Key Performance Indicators) Of Manpower :

- To assist dept head in preparation & execution of SOP's for safety so as to develop safe working environment.

- Safety performance index Continuous Training on Safety Norms.

Safety audit score Safety Of Assets : 

- To Coordinate with other depts to execute & ensure maintenance & up gradation of existing asset.

- Audit report carried out by external / recommended agency.

- Maintenance plan vs. actual Budgeting To make annual budget for raw material and OH of batch house and RM Timeliness of budgets submission

- To make budget for color change

- Budget control Monitoring of consumption of utilities.manpower,spares and raw materials

- Monotoring of color change days Action plan for the gaps identified during variance analysis

- Ensure the quality standards of Raw Materials, Furnace Oil and HSD on continuous basis Adherence with Quality Standards as per AIGL 

- To undertake improvement initiatives for production equipment's, processes and systems as per business requirement. No. of PDCA.

- Plan vs. actual saving To ensure smooth operations of Raw Material Handling, Batch House to produce glass quality as per specifications. Primary Defects Rejection %age in each production run.

- Production Maintain color change with in budget and color with in standards Adherence with budget Implementation of TPM Maintain of PQCDSM

- Maintain of optimum inventory of Critical spare items, Consumables and Safety items Adherence to the norms 

- Maintenance Support To monitor and review Raw material handling equipment and raw material unloading machine maintenance plan in coordination with maintenance dept.

- To monitor, control and plan minor and major activities for furnace mainatainence.

- As per check sheet To Implement TQM,QMS as per company guidelines. TQM Audit score / No. of NCR's in internal / external audits.

- Quality Management ( Standardization of Systems ) To standardize the process by making suitable SOP and implementation of the same No of abnormalities identified and action taken during process audit To strengthen theTask group activity in order to reduce cost.

- Cost savings plan vs. actual

- To evaluate the skill matrix in department members as per roles and responsibility Updation of Skill matrix

- Training plan vs. actual Development 

- -Manpower To execute appraisal as per company guidelines Timeliness of Appraisal

- Annual review plan vs. actual.

- Preparation of Training Manuals related to process for effective training of the operatives Timeliness Product/ color Development To carry out deep analysis and develop product samples as per market requirement Timeliness Cost reduction To develop alternative for material in RM.

- Reduce OH. Cost savings plan vs. actual To strengthen theTask group activity in order to reduce cost. Cost savings plan vs. actual Vendor Development To visit Vendor and upgrade them Vendor rating

Requirements :

- Knowledge Knowledge of Glass Manufacturing Process, Different Types of Raw Materials and Colorants, Emergency Handling, Qms, Suppliers 

Experience '(number of Years) : More than 5 Years Skills Managerial, Communication, 360'leadership and Motivation. 

Qualification :

- B.Tech ( Chemical / Ceramics)
