We are looking for a Area Operation Manager (O&M) for our client with pan India presence based at Karnataka/ Tamil Nadu /UP

Ideal candidate has the relevant O&M experience in infrastructure industry, is a full time Engineering degree holder, is a native or knows local language

Location : Shivamogga, Bangalore, Hassan, Mangalore

Language Proficiency : Kannada Mandate

Grade : AM / Manager

Role : Karnataka

Reports to : Region O&M Head

Nature of Role : Team Management, Direct Reports: FSEs (8 to 10), Entire Operation team of the Area assigned

Division/ Dept: :Operations & Maintenance

Work Timings :9AM-6PM, however candidate must be flexible and open to stretch

Experience : 5-20years

Education : B.E/B.Tech ( Full time)/MBA

Knowledge Required : Knowledge of basic Electrical Engineering / Project Implementation

Knowledge Required : Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or similar

Job purpose : 

To monitor, manage the operations and maintenance of Tower Sites with the objective of safe operations, achieving higher uptime, optimizing energy costs, controlling OPEX. Ensure customer expectations are met, manage partners and engage with landlords in the assigned geographical area of operations.

Stakeholder Relationship Management : 

. Engage with community, land owners, local administration, EB officials etc as required in order to build relationships and enlist their support to resolve issues across sites.

Operations Management : 

Review TOC reports periodically (outage report, fault report, uptime report etc), conduct root cause analysis, and take corrective measures to ensure sites are operating smoothly, uptime is maintained and delivered as per defined SLA

Cost Management : 

- Monitor repair and maintenance costs, optimal R&M cost levels are maintained.

- Monitor diesel consumption trends, review beat plan, and conduct RCA to optimize energy costs across sites.

- Ensure timely certification of bills, review, validate and conduct RCA on abnormal bills to resolve outstanding issues, ensure processing of bills as per the defined SLA to optimize OPEX.

- Provide inputs to circle opex manager / operation support manager for customer SLA signoff and partner's KPI signoff
