Title : E2E Analysis Engineer (LTE MAC/RLC)

Job Purpose : Analyze and resolve field issues in LTE commercial networks and enhance MAC Scheduler algorithms

Job Description :

- Analysis of issues reported from commercial networks using eNB statistics, eNB logs and UE logs.

- Analysis of eNB performance statistics and KPI to identify root cause of the problem

- Co-work with DSP SW engineers and Air Algorithm design engineers for issue resolution

- Enhance MAC Scheduler and Air Algorithms for optimized performance

- Perform Tests to reproduce and identify the problem in lab environment

- Classify the problem in to configuration issue or DSP SW issue or Algorithm issue

- Provide Root Cause Analysis to be shared to TAC-1/TAC-2 or customers

Skills:

- Strong background in Wireless communication

- Very good understanding of 3GPP LTE MAC and RLC specifications [36.321 and 36.322]

- Good understanding of MAC Scheduling algorithms

- Fair understanding of LTE Call Signaling Flow.

- Knowledge of NB-IoT, eMTC, Massive MIMO technologies is an added advantage

Qualifications : Bachelors/Masters in Electrical or Computer Science Engineering

Experience : 5-12 years
