Apollo Pharmacy - Quality Assurance Specialist (8-15 yrs)

PG:M.Tech - Bio-Chemistry/Bio-Technology, MBA/PGDM - Other Management, MS/M.Sc(Science) - Bio-Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology

Responsibilities :

1. SUPPLY BASE COMPLIANCE

- To ensure that factories we work with work on best quality systems and have capability to manufacture products of consistent quality.

- Accountability to conduct technical compliance, ethical compliance, environmental compliance, CTPAT compliance.

2. PRE PRODUCTION QUALITY COMPLIANCE

- To ensure that each product is produced based on clearly defined and agreed specifications. Collaborate with Product Managers to clearly define standards and specification of each product.

- Documentation of specification and sealing procedure for reference samples.

- Maintenance of product files with all technical details of the products.

- Accountability for review of all pre-production parameters factory licenses, product standards and test standards as per Indian and European norms, efficacy tests/ consumer trial report, spec/cost.

3. PRODUCTION COMPLIANCE

- Ensure availability of sealed reference sample with Apollo team and Vendor.

- Robust production quality diligence including raw materials, machinery compliance and consignment inspection as per AQL standards.

- Planning of inspection schedule and coordinate its execution with vendors, quality inspectors, product managers and test laboratories.

- Accountable for consignment dispatch process post final inspection.

4. CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN (CAP) FOR COMPLIANCE

- Accountable to improve the quality of supply base by encouraging them to upgrade.

- Be a consistently demand to enforce corrective action plan (CAP) identified during the factory audit to ensure that each supplier meets the threshold compliance levels at the factory.

- Protect Apollo Brands from any negative perception about product quality or production environment/ process. Ensure that each factory meets compliance threshold to avoid risk to Apollo brand.

5. CUSTOMER FEEDBACK MANAGEMENT

- Be a custodian of customer feedback on Apollo Brand products.

6. COORDINATION

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Test Laboratories, Quality Inspectors and other internal stake holders

7. COST OF COMPLIANCE

- Keep a vigil on compliance cost while meeting the deliverables.

- Consistently strive to bring down the cost of compliance on Apollo Brands.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Experience in handling private label sourcing and compliance, out of this minimum 5 years in handling sourcing and technical compliance with a multinational/Indian company of repute
