Position - Manager Application Engineer (Engine Development) - 2W/ 4W/ LDD/HDD

Location - Manesar, Gurgaon

Job Purpose :

- Understand After treatment Technologies and present it to the relevant customer

- Customer Facing Role, involving meeting customer, Understanding needs and responding back

- Lead HDD Application Engineering Activities for Indian and Global OEM's

- Co-ordination Technical Discussions with Global Technology Centres to meet Customer Satisfaction

- Lead NPI (Program Management) Activities from Application Team as a CFT member from Concept Design to APQP and Post Launch

- Lead HDD Application Team, Mentor & Enable Team's Success in all ongoing projects

- Coordination with Testing Engineers & Analysing Test Reports before Customer Submission

- Hiring, Training & Grooming of HDD Application Team Members

Job Description : 

- Good Knowledge of Automotive Catalyst, Emission Legislations, Exhaust System

- Good Knowledge IC Engines & Testing Requirements

- Knowledge of People Management Skills, Hiring, Appraisals, Coaching & Mentoring Skills

- Good Knowledge of MS Office & MS Project tools

- Good Knowledge of Project management Skills, Product Development Process

- Good Communication Skills ( Both Verbal & Written )

- Good Presentation Skills ( Both Verbal and Power point )

- Good Exposure of Customer Facing Role

- Good Team Management & Leadership Skills

- Effective Interpersonal Skills & Team Player Qualities

- High Analytical Abilities ( Capable to Analyse the Root Cause Field Failures & System Trouble Shooting, etc for Various Engines)

- Technical Presentation writing skills

- Interpretation and presentation of technical data to varying audiences

- Proven IT skills using relevant technical software packages as well as Microsoft Office (including MS Project)

- Problem Solving Ability
