Opening for Architect-Civil Construction designing based in Chennai

Position Title : Architect

Department : Architecture

Duties & Responsibilities :

a) Coordination with External consultants for various stages of design

b) Internal coordination with engineers, sales, marketing, contracts, purchase, planning, and M.E.P to streamline the project.

- Preparation of Agreement & Sales plans.

- Preparation of Area statements.

- Inputs/coordination in the preparation of Brochure, Models etc.

- Preparation of Specification list to facility sign-off.

- Providing data for facilitating the formation of society/condominium.

c) Coordination with Consultants/vendors for integration of structural/architectural and service drawings.

- Coordinating workshops with consultants for finalization of tender/working drawings.

- Communicating management's decision to external consultants.

- Visit consultant's office to solve design issues/delivery of drawings.

- The issue of the tender/working drawings.

d) Maintain documentation for current/future reference as per standards.

- Maintain the filing system of drawings (office copy)

- Maintain the drawings issue register.

- Data collection for High-Rise, MOEF & Green Building compliances.

- Maintain documentation for complying with the ISO certification.

e) Site visits for quality control and coordination with Project Managers / Contractors for delivery of site on scheduled time.

- Coordinating site meetings with consultants and project manager for site related issue during execution.

- Coordinating replies on RFI with consultants raised by the site.

f) Visit the site to ensure that work is done as per plan and design.

g) Understand RERA requirements and various statutory requirements

h) Competition study, visits and analysis

i) New material study and implementation

Job Specifications

- Education qualification: B.Arch

- Years &nature of Experience :3 - 4 Yrs exp.

- Desired skills: Knowledge of Construction and service related

- Drawings, design Coordination with all concern

- Stakeholders, Knowledge of Material specification

- Desired attributes: Strong Interpersonal Skills, Good Analytical Skills and Ability to work under pressure.
