Job Overview :

- As a Senior Manager/DGM of Research and Development (R&D) at Ascolite in Surat, India, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, product development, and process improvement within the organization. Key Responsibilities :

Research and Development Strategy : 

- Develop and execute the R&D strategy aligned with the company's goals and market demands.

- Identify new technologies, trends, and opportunities for innovation in construction materials.

- Establish long-term research objectives and milestones to drive product development and enhancement.

Product Development :

- Lead the development of new construction materials, including cement-based products, admixtures, and specialty chemicals.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate market requirements into technical specifications.

- Conduct feasibility studies, trials, and testing to validate product performance and suitability for commercialization.

Process Optimization :

- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.

- Implement process optimization initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

- Work closely with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to streamline operations and scale up production capacity.

Technology Transfer and Innovation :

- Manage technology transfer projects from R&D to production, ensuring seamless integration and knowledge transfer.

- Protect intellectual property rights through patents, trademarks, and other legal mechanisms.

Team Leadership and Development :

Qualifications :

- Proven track record of leading successful product development projects from concept to commercialization.
