Location - Mumbai

Job Description :

- To contribute to the development of the divisional Buying and Merchandising strategy and to work within this strategy at all times.

- To contribute to the development of option plans and to maintain the library of option sales trends.

- By liaison with, and through influencing suppliers, to progress the availability of product in line with agreed dates and to ensure that contracted intake is re-phased in line with changes to requirements

- To monitor weekly sales, stock and intake for each individual option within a department and to ensure that future projections are realistic and in line with stock availability.

- To ensure that agreed re-buys and cancellations are actioned and to make the appropriate changes to the stock file.

- To work with the Assistant Buyer to track progress against the agreed critical path for each option

- Creation of Option and Depth plan on the basis of budget.

- Pre Season allocation & Replenishment of the products to all stores detailed in line with buy, taking account into Stores Display capacity, budget and demand, Seasonality and product life cycles.

- Making & analysing the sell through report to alarm for the Season readiness, Stock deployment, and understand the fast mover & slow mover and take the necessary action.

- Skillfully designing, implementing and monitoring effective inventory planning and establishing the quantity limits for effective inventory control.

- ROS (ARS) Revision as per sale trend.

- Responsible for the allocation of new Stores based on budget & display capacity.

- Responsible for Monitoring PO creation vs OTB allotted.

- Co-ordinate with FECs for any specific stock requirement & sale push.

- Making a consolidation plan as per requirement.

- Plan EOSS Markdown.

- Making a preponement & carryforward plan at product level as per budget vs stock availability.
