Assistant Design & Development Manager - New Product Development (5-8 yrs)
Education Qualification - DME/BE (Mechanical) with 5+ years of exp in Foundry - Castings background.
Job Description :
1. To Manage development activities right from drawings to initial samples to PPAP submission.
2. New product development for foundry castings.
3. Accountable for Technical review of customer drawings & specifications.
4. Giving technical assistance to Moulding department during sample casting production.
5. Perform dimensional inspection and complete reports and interpret results.
6. Involved in new part development & Improvement in the regular production items.
7. Accountable for Design all new tooling and communicate design to vendor.
8. Accountable for Develop patterns through approved vendors.
9. ISO Documents Develop process instructions, standard operating procedures, and inspection checklists.
10. Assist with sampling casting results. Taking corrective preventive action & collecting documentation.
Technical Competency Skills :
1. Knowledgeable in CI & DI pump and valve casting.
2. Expert in SolidWorks and 2D & 3D drawings.
3. Knowledge in Pattern & Core Box Splitting.
4. Design new Products and Processes
5. Software knowledge required AutoCAD Drawing, Unigraphics, 3D modelling etc.
6. GD&T interpretation and creation of technical drawings
