Job Title: Assistant General Manager - Sourcing - Recycling (Non-Ferrous)
Location: West India (Preferred base: Maharashtra or Gujarat or Rajasthan),North India:- Gurgoan
Experience: 5+ Years
Industry: Non-Ferrous Metals / Recycling / Supply Chain
Key Responsibilities:
- Non-Ferrous Scrap Sourcing: Procure aluminum, copper, brass, and other non-ferrous metal scrap from regional suppliers, yards, and aggregators.
- Supplier Management: Identify and onboard reliable scrap vendors while nurturing long-term partnerships.
- Price & Commercial Negotiation: Monitor market trends and negotiate best-in-class commercial deals with suppliers.
- Quality Compliance: Ensure the material quality meets Organization's standards; manage inspection and rejection protocols.
- Logistics Coordination: Liaise with internal teams and transport vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective material movement.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure sourcing and transactions follow applicable norms including GST, EPR, and waste management laws.
- Market Intelligence: Track non-ferrous metal market prices, global demand-supply shifts, and regulatory updates to shape sourcing strategy
Qualifications & Skills:
- B.Tech/M.tech (Metallurgy)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in non-ferrous scrap sourcing/recycling.
- Strong network of scrap suppliers and recyclers in West India.
- Sound knowledge of non-ferrous metal types, grades, and recycling methods.
- Familiar with logistics, quality control, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Excel, ERP systems, and tech-enabled procurement platforms.
