Assistant Manager - Aircraft/Helicopter - Field Trials and Process Engineering (2-5 yrs)
Job Description
The candidate would be responsible for field trial of newly introduced product for the aircraft/helicopter. The exercise would involve liaisoning with designers and customer. The exercise invites understanding of test scenarios, quality standards and extensive documentation skills. The design knowledge would be a big plus. The job may involve traveling for extended periods.
Role : Field Trials and Process Engineering
Responsibilities (Field Trials/Production)
- Builds, maintains and deploys product Test plan for certification and compliance purposes
- Understands and deploy qualification standards for the product deployment
- Participates in field trials of new equipment.
- Creates and maintains technical documentation
- Liaisons with stakeholders during trials
- Analyzesand resolves the operational issues
- Arranges material, spares, equipment and logistics
- Manages / Co-ordinates with vendors
- Ensures delivery of products and services on time
- Identifies improvement opportunities (process/product)
Attributes
- Familiar with design process of electronic products
- Experienced at CAD tools for producing electronics products
- Preferably, must have done atleast one product design or qualified the product
- Good listener, action oriented and good at grasping information
- Utilize standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and test rigs
- Passion for respective domain
- Good interpersonal skills and self-motivated
