Assistant Manager - Analytical - Logistic Operations (3-6 yrs)
Job Description:
- Responsible for managing logistics operation across geography.
- Arrange & Execute optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
- Providing inputs and innovative ideas for improving Supply chain efficiency.
- Managing Vendor Compliance.
- Ocean and air forecasting.
- On-time movement of freight from sourcing country to destination.
- Monitor ocean service schedule adherence.
- New & Refresher Training - Vendors, 3PL, Sourcing merchants.
- Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems.
- Create policies or procedures for logistics activities pertaining to the region.
- Direct inbound logistics operations which includes managing carriers, planning contingencies, safety performance etc.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes.
- Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes, or carriers.
- Communicate freight transportation information to suppliers.
- Review global, regional transportation or logistics reports for ways to improve efficiency.
- Guiding merchants for timely and correct system amendments.
- Preparing monthly, weekly or daily MIS, analysis, monitoring the trends.
Salary:INR 10,00,000 - 12,00,000 P.A.
