Assistant Manager - Brakes Design (2-5 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Exp in designing Brakes is must.
- Disk Brakes System design exp is must.
- ABS (Anti lock Braking system) & CBS (Combi Break System) are good to have / preferred.
- Unigraphics or Catia experience is must.
- Responsible for designing of Brakes and related components.
- Detailed understanding of Brake system, ABS, CBS, Grabs, Stands, Wheels, etc
- Sound knowledge of Layout / Packaging / design.
- Understanding of Product Lifecycle. Homologation requirements.
- Ability to do multitasking: Interaction with Vertical Teams, Testing co-ordination, Benchmarking, Dealing with Plant, Service and vendors
- Knowledge on different types of materials, manufacturing processes. Understanding on vehicle Tests and Validations.
- Application of GD&T, DFMEA, DFM etc
- Basic knowledge of vehicle layout design, ergonomics
- Knowledge on regulation requirements for Brake system, ABS, CBS, Grabs, Stands, Wheels, etc.,
- Knowledge of CAD modelling, PLM tools. Hands on experience on UG-NX, Team center will be added advantage
- Well versed with design calculations
- Knowledge on testing & evaluation on bench & on vehicle
- Virtual simulation knowledge for parts design and takeaways.
- Application of GD&T, DFMEA, DFM etc
- Exposure to manufacturing process like forging, Aluminium PDC/GDC, Press & fabrication, etc.,
