Assistant Manager - Commercial/Procurement - Building Material (4-8 yrs)
Assistant Manager Commercial/Procurement: Building Material Firm
Location: Kochi
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strategic and economic procurement of Cement & Raw materials for RMC Plant
- Planning and Strategizing procurement operations
- Procurement of Spares and Consumables for RMC Plant & Allied Machinery
- Procurement of Industrial Fuel and lubricants as per requirement
- Negotiation of price agreements and contractual terms
- Negotiate for pricing and contracts of hiring of machinery and vehicles
- Ensure timely supply and optimal stock levels for raw materials
- Pre-qualify, develop, induct new suppliers & service providers
- Regularly evaluate vendor performance and update
- Ensuring procedural mandates at all site transactions
- Handling Supply Discrepancies and Nonconformities
- Expedite and follow up for timely deliveries
- Vendor management
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience only from RMC/Construction/Building Material
- BE in Mechanical/Civil
- Professional degree like MBA/PGDBM in Operation/Supply Chain Management is preferred
- Hands on Procurement, SAP MM, MS-Excel is an added advantage
