Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Freight Forwarding Division (5-10 yrs)
Mandatory Criteria (Can't be neglected during screening) :
- Looking for candidates who has handled project cargo(OOG or ODC cargo). He/She should be in sales.
- Need Candidates from Freight forwarding industry.
- Strong understanding of transportation modes, customs regulations, and international trade processes.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or site visits.
- Should have experience in executing complete (Logistics projects) freight forwarding projects.
- Comfortable for flexible work hours to accommodate different time zones or urgent project needs.
NOTE :
- Face to Face Interview will be conducted.
- Working Days - Mon to Fri (full day) & Sat (half day), [ 1&3 Sat - WFO, 2&4 Sat - WFH ]
- Work Timings - 9:30 am - 6 pm
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute freight forwarding projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their logistics requirements and develop customized solutions.
- Negotiate contracts with carriers, suppliers, and other service providers to secure favourable terms and pricing.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring adherence to financial targets and delivery deadlines.
- Oversee the transportation and logistics process, including scheduling shipments, tracking cargo, and resolving any issues that arise.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, highlighting achievements and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to the supply chain.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continually improve project management processes.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and business partners to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of transportation modes, customs regulations, and international trade processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
