- He must have significant experience in maintenance systems like preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance methodologies for Automation at Site including Instrumentation, PLC programming, Plant OT Network & Electrical aspects of Automation in all sections of Manufacturing line & Utilities including Water treatment plants.

- Expertise in Process Automation including Instrumentation, PLC programming, SCADA development and modification, Plant Automation Server troubleshooting, Process Network & Electrical aspects of Automation.

- Having sound knowledge of various functions of Automation & Instrumentation in Boiler, Refrigeration, WWTP, RO plant, Packaging equipment, Cooling Tower, Compressor, Ammonia plant, Fryer, chiller, Driers and process equipment

- Sound knowledge and exposure of calibration, vibration analysis, including troubleshooting & Well Familiar to work with MS Office, SAP & required programming software Planned Maintenance

- Expert in implementation of the preventive maintenance system through excellent and comprehensive assessment of various needs of machines.

- Monitor equipment during the week to prioritize & plan work on a daily basis

- Develop, review, upgrade and ensure compliance to all Automation fixed time maintenance and planned maintenance tasks.

- Ensure all Automation activities complete on a weekly basis & follow up work planned accordingly

- Adapt Automation maintenance schedules to maximize machine availability, cost effectively

- Ensure record keeping of all Automation maintenance activities including instrument calibration process and

- records for appropriate audit point of view.

- Planning & scheduling for effective PM, CBM, TBM, Autonomous maintenance as per standard in Automation

- Ensure Spares & Inventory controlled without effecting the plant performance Breakdown Maintenance

- Proactive response to all equipment breakdowns with maintenance team under him to minimize stoppage

- Lead & follow up of Automation related failures occurred in the assigned production line to find root cause & prevent reoccurrence.

- Ensure maintenance management through personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules by setting direction and priorities

- Drive & support team for RCFA for the all breakdown/downtime and take necessary action to resolve problems permanently

- Communicate with production operators on time scale of stoppage & any assistance that is required

- Effectively identify the cause of standardization and / or localization of spares and equipment

- Create good relationships with local suppliers/ contractors to ensure parts availability and service support quickly with minimal cost

- Designing of specific automation, PLC, programming & Process automation Repairs & alternate solution for

- spares unavailability in the market and help in rebuilding the same

- Spare & Consumables Inventory management & advice the engineering store associate in the same

- Ensure that relevant technician checks quality of delivered spares required completing maintenance in time and ensuring that the system sustains effectively

- Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the department.

- Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment Engineering Improvements

- Plan & execute Automation as well as Instrumentation, PLC programming, Plant OT Network & Electrical aspects of Automation improvements in the assigned production line and relevant services area of the plant to increase efficiencies/ improve safety standards or assist production

- Knowledge of reliability centered maintenance to implement end-to-end process of optimizing lifecycle.

- Assist with engineering projects as required in small capex and especially in start-up management during project.

- Participate in review of designing and developing future production capacities by attending SUM meetings, coordinating with OEM and Global team and updating maintenance operating procedures and schedules to incorporate the changes

Safety

- Lead Safety and drive culture improvement towards safety.

- Ensure safety in daily tasks with appropriate PPE & procedures by self and by team working under him

- Adhere to Safety standards & Guidelines time on time `basis within members

- Ensure equipment is correctly isolated (LOTO) during maintenance activities

- Report any safety or property loss incident to relevant persons in the safety organization and Manager as per company procedures

- Guiding Team for Safe work practices, Training, Knowledge sharing, Key Lessons learned from other sites

- Accountable for automation related Equipment safety at Fryer for Fire hazard elimination

- Adherence to Legal Compliances to all relevant maintenance activities

- Compliance with McCain policies and systems

- Compliance with Human Safety standards
