Assistant Manager - Electroplating
Department: Production / Surface Treatment
Location: Bawal, Haryana
Reports To: Manager - Electroplating / Plant Head
Job Purpose:
To oversee and manage daily electroplating operations ensuring high-quality metal finishing, compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and optimum process efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the electroplating process for various metals such as zinc, nickel, chrome, etc.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
- Analyze bath compositions and maintain chemical concentrations within prescribed limits.
- Coordinate with quality control to ensure final product finish meets specifications.
- Lead a team of operators and technicians; assign duties and oversee performance.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance for plating equipment.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of electroplating processes and surface finishing technologies.
- Understanding of chemical handling and safety protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
