Qualification : Graduate in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering from premium institute with good academic track record.

Experience : 5-11 years in Production Shop, preferably in Automobile Industry

Age : Around 25-27 years

Brief job Description & necessary attributes required :

- Engine Assembly Planning based on Vehicle Production Plan

- Executing & Achieving the Daily & Monthly Production Plan with targeted OLE & RFT

- Adherence, Compliance and continuous Improvements in the Quality System

- Strong commitment for Quality and Response to Quality

- Sustenance and Proactive Improvements in Safety Systems, Ability for conducting HIRAC

- Continual involvement for Assembly processes improvements, Flexibility improvement multi-model assembly lines

- Knowledge of Sub-assemblies, Joints, Torque, Stage layout, Process Flow,

- Plan & Implement actions for In-process and FG Inventory reduction

- Interfacing ability with QA, PPC & ME function, and with Parts supplying feeders (Machined components) & vendors

- Basic knowledge of Assembly Equipment's & PM of equipment- s, Assembly Tools & Tackles, Ergonomics & Motion Study

- Ability for stage and line re-balancing

- Idea generation / implementation for Output / man improvements

- Strong conviction for interacting, guiding, supporting, developing and handling large group of cell members

- Good communication ability horizontally & vertically

- 100% Compliance to various ISO System Audits - QMS, EMS, OHSAS

- Knowledge of Legal & Material Accounting topics associated with Engine Assembly production function

- Capability for catering to various documentations, defining SOPs

- Knowledge of TPM, Ability to enhance and sustain JH activities

- Knowledge of Material Flow & Improvement, Material Handling, Layouts

- Product Knowledge and Role play for New Model Introduction & associated challenges

- Plan and implement Poka-yoke and Automation proposals for defect free production.

- Plan and implement cost reduction proposals associated to work area

- Able to derive energy conservation ideas in the work area

- Ensure implementation of high level 5S & housekeeping standards in the shop.

- Knowledge and experience of SAP system

- Efforts and Focus for Continuous Improvements - Kaizens generate and implement

- Should be able to implement Yutori ideas / concept

- Achievement of PQCDSM targets

- Possess good communication, planning, coordination and leadership skills

- Knowledge of Best Assembly Practices and to implement the same

- Able to interact with Top Executives, Consultants - Should make and deliver Shop Floor and Conference Room Presentations

- Passion and Zeal for improving and taking work area to next higher level

- Good knowledge of servo motor/drive bearing pressing and assembly equipments/Automations

- Good knowledge of TPM and ISO (EMS/QMS) standards
