Assistant Manager - Export/CHA/Logistics - FMCG/Pharma (7-13 yrs)
We are looking for Assistant Manager - Export / Logistics - FMCG Company in Mumbai
Location: Mumbai (Central Side)
Role Objective: Responsible for overall demand planning & logistics for export business (Non-SAARC & SAARC)
Your role specifications:
Exports:
- Liaison / Develop CHA & Freight Forwarder
- Manage shipments and delivery as per Schedule
- Knowledge of International Sea & Road freight
- Experience in handling Exports Documentation
- Knowledge of Self Container Sealing, Exports Incentives & Duty Drawback
Logistics:
- Planning for dispatches from factories for smooth consolidation at warehouse
- Planning of weekly dispatches to meet customer requirement and match monthly sales target
- Monitor CHAs & Forwarders for container movement and vessel sailing
- Liaison with Shipping Companies / Forwarders for freight contracts
- Weekly dashboard publishing to customers on their respective orders
- Supervise the daily activities of Exports Logistics Team
- Initiate Cost Improvement and Cost Avoidance Projects
Demand Planning & Order Management:
- Coordinate with Internal & External Marketing teams for Orders
- Weekly Indent of Confirmed & forecast order to Supply Chain (PSO) Planning Team
- Close coordination with Supply Chain (PSO) teams / Factories for execution of orders on time
- Implementation of Packaging & Artwork change
- Maintaining & monitoring of FG & RM/PM stock at factories
- Monitor sampling activities for new / existing business
Operational Knowledge:
- Mandatory: In-depth knowledge of Excise, Customs, Export & Import procedure, CHA & Shipping Companies Handling
- Min 7-8 Years experience in Exports Logistics, Supply Chain & Demand Planning / Order management
- Knowledge of SAP
