Qualification : BE/Master (Mechanical)
Experience : 5-9 years
The job description is as follows :
Role & Responsibilities :
- Feasibility study / develop Concepts for new Products (Transmission / Gearbox) for construction equipments, Agricultural, Wind, Electric vehicles .
- System, subsystem & component designs to be released for production.
- Define & develop cost-effective specifications by understanding assembly & manufacturing processes (DFM & DFA),
- Support Engineering changes based on the needs of local production & suppliers.
- Projects Plan & Product Planning. ( Global & Indian Projects )
Required Skills :
- Experience with any of the following systems is required: transmissions, gearboxes, planetary drives, Axles & Differentials.
- Strong knowledge of 3D CAD software (UG-NX )
- Good Working Knowledge about managing drawings and engineering documentation within a PLM environment (preferably Siemens Team enter)
- Good working knowledge about mechanical drawings and GD&T.
- Good working knowledge about design calculations for Gears & Bearings .
- Working Knowledge about FEA analysis and software (preferably Siemens NXNastran) will be an advantage.
- Awareness of manufacturing process of castings and forgings is desirable.
- A general understanding about construction equipments Agricultural machines, Electric motors, Vehicles .
- As Per Project Requirements the candidate should be willing to travel to Europe for Projects ( Generally the period is three Months )
