Assistant Manager - Fixed Assets & Capital Projects - FMCG Manufacturing (5-7 yrs)
Assistant Manager - Project 
Location: Nashik 
Reports To : Technical Manager 
Key Purpose : 
- To ensure that the Manufacturing Facility delivers as per the plan throughout the year with minimal disruptions and at minimal cost. 
- Responsible for delivery of Small to Large sized Capital Projects in the plant with the objective of providing high quality execution in a timely and cost effective manner. Should take lead in identifying Improvement and leading them through execution and realization in order to improve plant performance. 
Key Responsibilities : 
- To ensure implementation of all Fixed Assets and Capital Projects policies and procedures. 
- Conceptualize, validate and Implement capital project work through appropriate resourcing and prioritization. 
- Follow basic project engineering processes and standards 
- Implement Improvement projects such as solutions to Capacity improvement, De-bottlenecking, Efficiency Improvement 
- To ensure delivery of Business Sustenance Up-gradations 
- Ensure that all the Projects are executed meeting Statutory / Legal requirements 
- Ensure that Projects are carried out in safest possible manner with minimal impact on environment 
- Manage Capital Expenditure Budgets 
- Generate Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual MIS / Reports as required 
- To make the indents for capital projects with all requirements &seek approvals. 
- To interact effectively with Contractors, Vendors, Consultants and other Agencies as required 
- To maintain effective shop floor discipline and to achieve the best results from the available resources. 
- To maintain the set quality standards in the Selection and Execution i.e. Sanitary Design, GMP, HACCP & other quality requirements. 
- To ensure regulatory requirements of MSEB, MPCB, MIDC, DISH, Fire Department and Weights and measures as required are complied with. 
- Support Utilities & Maintenance team for delivery of their Key priorities 
- Support in Repairs and Maintenance Activities of the plant as and when required 
- To ensure smooth Industrial Relations in Plant Premises 
- To act as Mentor / Guide for all Technical Team Members & Colleagues 
- Ensure all Records & documentation related to function is created in time & maintained properly. 
- Coordination with other functions as & when required.

- To formulate and update the manufacturing process documents, in consultation with the Factory Manager. 
- To identify benchmarks for various manufacturing activities and implement steps and processes to take our processes to those benchmarks. 
Key Interfaces : 
Internal : 
- QA,Manufacturing, Supply Chain for day to day work - Daily 
- HR for ensuring necessary Compliances 
- Finance for Asset Management, Capitalization, Approvals etc. Regular 
- Central Projects Team - Seek inputs on Technology, Design and Selection 
- R&D - Technical assistance - As and when required. 
External : 
- MIDC, MSEB, W&M, DISH, MPCB, Fire Dept. As and when required 
Incumbent Profile : 
- B.E. Mechanical with sound knowledge of Engineering practices. About 5 - 7 years of Engineering Experience of which at least 4-5 years is into Project Management with reputed Foods / FMCG / Chemical Industry.
