Assistant Manager - HVAC (7-13 yrs)

Job Description :


1. To attend to all the inquiries received, review the project checklist, prepare the query list, and take approval of the checklist from the sales and marketing department, which is needed for design, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.

2. To work on pharma layouts, HVAC concepts, piping concepts, a list of equipment, and electrical concepts.

3. To coordinate with his team to design and estimate the cost of cleanroom systems, HVAC systems, utility and piping systems, electrical systems, furniture, and fixtures for a project based on an approved checklist and other inputs like mail communication and minutes of the meeting (MOM).

4. To prepare the BOQ and estimate the cost based on the design.

5. To monitor and review data and information to detect or assess problems.

6. To review the offer for cleanroom systems, HVAC systems, utility and piping, electrical systems, furniture, and fixtures as per the approved checklist with correct costing data and submit it to the sales and marketing department with relevant technical attachments and scope or exclusion details.

7. To assess the cost effectiveness of the products, track actual costs relative to the estimated budget, and report status on a regular basis to ensure costs are in line with the forecasts.

8. To assist the project team in starting the execution of the project once the order is received and attend all kick off and troubleshooting initial meetings.

9. To discuss with vendors new equipment and take technical details or costs.

10. To keep oneself and the team abreast of the latest technologies and cost effective design methods for lean costing.

Skills and Knowledge :

1. Should have basic knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.

2. Should have good pharmaceutical formulation factory design experience.

3. Should have good knowledge of estimating techniques.

4. Should have problem solving abilities.

5. Must have excellent planning and coordination skills.

6. Must be a good team player.

7. Must have excellent management and negotiation skills.

8. Must have cost saving skills.

9. Must be exceptional in time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
