Assistant Manager/Manager - HSE - Textile Machinery Manufacturing (8-12 yrs)

Education : DME / BE (Mech) / Post Diploma in Industrial Safety / Industrial Environmental Management
Experience : Min. 8 years of relevant experience
Job Expertise :
- Periodical information of the Executive Board about HSE and especially about new international law, regulations, programs, as well as HSE request of our key customers
- Preparation of HSE risk map and business contingency plan (together with Corporate Risk Manager)
- HSE Review and development of HSE Report (part of Integrated Corporate Management Report)
- Periodical HSE input (annual goals and program) for Segments and regional executives
- Participate on periodical Environmental Audits (integrated part of management system audits or inputs for Internal Audit Committee)
- Monitoring of legal compliance
- Ensure that all new employee receive the HSE flyer and training on safety or security (together with local HR)
- Periodical HSE audits (together with or as an integrated part of management system audits)
- Set up local HSE report (together with Regional Executive)
- Actualization and analysis of local legal requirements
- Controlling of local Environmental program and targets
- Inquiry and analysis of relevant local HSE figures; reporting to Corporate HSE Manager
- Joint investigation, co-ordination & documentation of Accidents & Injuries
- Verify that injury logs and reports are completed and submitted to related government agencies
- Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use
- Promotes safe practices at the job site
- Enforces safety guidelines
- Trains and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations
- Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses
- Performs emergency response drills
- Coordinates registrations and removal of hazardous waste
