The Manager - Logistics will be based in Pune.

Here is a glimpse of what youll do:

- Strategically plan and manage logistics activities like Freight Payment & Audit, Transportation, Freight Analytics, warehouse, customer service.

- Identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of Logistics processes

- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

- Monitor Monthly Site Metrics & Develop Logistics team capabilities to ensure proper support for sites and stake holders

- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets

- Support growth plan - aligned with Transfer plan strategy

- To meet or exceed desired service levels for the various activities undertaken on behalf of the global sites

- Supervise, mentor and guide the team towards effective discharge of functions

- Perform Quarterly / Annual performance appraisals for the team members

- Comply with the QMS policies and ISO requirements

Here is some of what youll need (required):

- Proven working experience in any or all of the following domains:

- Supply Chain & Operations, Freight Forwarding & Transportation

- Inventory Management & Warehousing/ Distribution, EXIM Ops, Excise, Customs Clearance

- Experience in BPO / Manufacturing industry preferably in electronics

- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff

- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects

- Conflict resolution & Decision making skills

- Knowledge and ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite & outlook proficiently

- Knowledge of ERP (Preferably BAAN)

Salary:INR 10,00,000 - 20,00,000 P.A.
