Department : Maintenance

Job Summary :

This role is responsible for supporting the production department by regular upkeep of machines, updation and corrective action for breakdown in order to achieve 100% uptime. Also involved in procurement of critical and basic spare material.

Minimum Requirements :

Qualification: Diploma (Mechanical)

Experience : >8 to 12 years

Special Skills reqd if any : Prior experience and basic knowledge of machines and processes, Knowledge of PLC and CNC

Job Magnitude :

Revenue/Budget : Neither Internal Customers: Production, safety

Geography : Work Group (2) External Customers: Auditors

Span of Control : 1 to 3

Responsibility Areas :

- Attending to daily breakdowns, conducting analysis to understand reason for breakdown and provide corrective action to increase MTBF and reduce MTTR trouble shooting of B/D on systematic manner

- Attending daily meetings with production regarding breakdown and charting action plans to avoid such incidents

- Planning for procurement of spare parts, creation of indents and follow up with the supplier for timely delivery of required spares

- Updating the timely breakdown data in software to trouble shooting & P.M

- Taking regular corrective action for abnormalities recorded (LPA and SOT points) and updating status to ensure timely closure of points

- Executing regular improvement works on shop floor and machines in order to maintain machine health and increase efficiency

- Executing corrective action on non compliances to ensure adherence to standards, which are applicable to location

- Tracking / monitoring of corrective actions of why why, PM, BD with effective execution

- Adhering to safety standards put up in time to time
