Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and set up Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) and Horizontal Machining Centers (HMC) for precision machining.

- Study and analyze component/assembly drawings, 3D models, and GD&T from R&D/Suppliers, and prepare conceptual fixture/tool layouts for machining and assembly.

- Prepare and maintain TATF (Technical Approval Test Form) documentation and other process-related documents.

- Prepare and release TS documents such as SOP, Control Plan, Process Flow Chart, and PFMEA.

- Ensure proper application of materials, cutting tools, cutting parameters, and fixturing principles in process development.

- Conceptual design of position gauges for assembly/machining using AutoCAD/Pro-E.

- Prepare and release semi-finished drawings of 5C components as per requirements/strategy.

- Lead and support process, fixture, tool, and gauge design for machining and assembly operations.

- Prepare and maintain IATF 16949 documentation, Control Plans, and PFMEA.

- Prepare shop/cell layouts for improvement projects (capacity expansion, reduced material handling, fatigue reduction, and improved ergonomics).

Experience & Skills Required:

- 0- 7 years of experience in the automobile industry in process/fixture/tool/gauge design

- Strong understanding of materials, cutting tools, cutting parameters, and clamping/fixturing principles

- Knowledge of SAP, MS Excel, and PowerPoint

- Good communication skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams
