Educational Qualification : DME/ B.E Mech

Industry : Automobile Industary

Work location : Hosur

Experience : 10 to 12 years Experience into in parts / components design and development

- Exposure to auto component industry and Product Development processes is preferred

- Should possess expert knowledge of design software.

- Should possess knowledge of parts / components / products, as applicable (for example 2 wheeler parts, car parts etc)

- Should possess basic knowledge of proto manufacturing and product build processes.

- The Product Development Incharge is responsible for design and development of Cold forging parts, components and products, for the projects / programs handled.

- Cold forged parts Value analysis and Value engineering. Design integration and application of new technology is critical to the role holder.

Desired Candidate Profile :

1. Responsible for ensuring delivery of projects adhering project timelines, quality and cost targets

2. Design and develop parts / components as per project plan and provide technical support in product development

3. Review and monitor project milestones and conduct technical reviews for projects in adherence to APQP process

4. Collaborate for testing, validation and proto manufacturing to ensure project deliverables as per timelines

5. Provide technical inputs and support on design and development concepts for procurement and other development processes

6. Responsible for product design and development work

7. Mainly responsible for VA / VE projects.

8. Project: Raw Material yield improvement in cold forged parts.
