Assistant Manager - Purchase/Vendor Development - Industrial Pneumatics & Tyre Valves/Accessories (7-10 yrs)
- An ISO 9001 company, subsidiary of Oriental Carbon and Chemicals Ltd., JP Goenka Group of companies and is India's pioneer in the field of industrial pneumatics and off-highway tyre valves and accessories.
Qualification : BE/BTech Mech
Experience : 8-10 Years of experience
CTC : 10.5 lpa
Location: Ranjangaon, Pune
Job Responsibilities :
1. Should have excellent knowledge on vendor development & purchase functional processes.
2. Should be able to establish & maintain effective vendor development processes in an organisation.
3. Should have strong process knowledge for CI/SGI Castings, PDC/GDC, machining, sheet metal, plastic/rubber moulding categories.
4. Should have strong knowledge on Tool/Die/Pattern/mouldings manufacturing processes and able to work out should cost model for tooling & components.
5. Should be well versed with ZBC and should base cost model.
6. Should be able to establish mechanism to define & monitor tool life.
7. Should be able to raise capex (supplier related development) requests with all supporting justifications in place.
8. Well versed with supplier base across PAN India for mentioned categories.
9. Support Strategic Sourcing team during supplier identification & evaluation of supplier.
10. Establish suppliers/component capacity at the start of development.
11. Should have strong focus approach on cost reductions by means of VA/VE and work closely with M&E team for materialisation.
12. Anticipate Supplier Risks & Develop Strategies to mitigate the Risk to ensure OTD targets and work closely with Strategic Sourcing team.
13. Build & sustain long term effective supplier relationships.
14. 100% adherence to compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
15. Must be a good Team player with positive attitude & work closely with internal stake holders.
16. Continue to work on opportunities for improvements within Sourcing by bringing out of the box ideas.
17. Should be familiar with IMS system like ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 compliance.
18. Must have Good Analytical skills & Data driven approach for Problem Solving
19. Should have Proactive & responsive approach.
