Assistant Manager - Quality Control (5-10 yrs)
- To head an experienced team of 3 lab chemists and 3 assistants to conduct analytical tests of mostly inorganic salts, acids and alkali raw materials, finished products, in-process liquors and effluents. Organic samples are infrequent.
- Personally perform as also lead his team to perform the tests in a systematic, diligent, efficient and dependable manner, following Good Lab Practices.
- To implement and improve upon the Testing Plan; perform and train the team to perform analytical procedures as provided in various monographs, or by customers or by scholarly internet searches. Outsourcing to other labs, as required.
- Routine samples are provided daily to the QC Lab by various manufacturing plants. R&D provides samples on campaign basis. At times, he/she will be required to travel to customer locations within India to attend to quality complaints.
- Expertise with analytical instruments such as ORP, AAS, spectrophotometer, and potentiometer will be an advantage
- Certification in Good Lab Practices will be an advantage.
Computer - Word, Excel, Internet Search, SAP, ERP.
Language - Fluent in written and spoken English and Hindi
