Assistant Manager - Raw materials buying for an FMCG MNC
Role
- To source specialty chemicals for personal care products as per requirements.
- Vendor Management including contracting, monitoring vendor performance, ensuring adherence to performance metrics in cost reduction, quality compliance etc.
- To track relevant markets for gathering information on supply and demand of chemicals and leverage the same in buying decisions.
- To provide inputs to product development teams to identify product innovation possibilities by sharing market intelligence.
- To maintain updated information records in SAP and generate MIS reports regularly to support performance management systems.
Basic Requirements
- Should be familiar with the specialty chemicals industry
- Should have knowledge of various sources of sourcing specialty chemicals for the Personal Care Business
- Should possess strong negotiation skills
Qualifications :
- B.Sc (Science) / Engineer/B Tech or,
- Post Graduate in Science or
- MBA/CA
