Assistant Manager - Research & Development - Dyes/Pigments (8-10 yrs)
Job Profile :
- Lead a team of 8-10 R&D chemists to develop high performance dyes/pigments
- Daily review of experiment results to guide R&D chemists
- Design synthetic route to manufacture dyes with correct quality and cost parameters
- Conduct literature survey to find new manufacturing processes
- Propose innovative solutions to address cost/quality deviations in new products
- Responsible for successful validation on pilot and plant scale for new products
- Verify lab process in conjunction with Production Manager and successful process handover to Production department
- Provide timely solutions for troubleshooting of plant deviations
- Conduct regular training for development executives
- Functional Area: Engineering Design, R&D
Keyskills : Dyes pigments
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Prior experience managing a team of R&D chemists
- Proven record in successful development of dyes/pigments
- Strong knowledge of azo chemistry, dyes/pigments chemistry, dyes intermediates
- 8-9 yrs experience
- BSc / MSc /PhD in Dyes Technology and/or Organic Chemistry
- M.Tech
