our esteemed client in Isolation valve manufacturing industry located in Pune are urgently looking for Assistant Manager Quality Engineer positions.

As a Senior Quality Engineer in a valve manufacturing environment, you will lead quality assurance initiatives across production processes, ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g. ISO, ASME, API), and drive continuous improvement. You- ll act as a key liaison between cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to maintain the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and monitor quality control processes for valves across all production stages

- Analyze and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA)

- Conduct regular audits (internal and supplier) and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards

- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to implement quality improvements

- Maintain and update documentation such as Control Plans, Work Instructions and inspection reports

- Provide guidance and training to junior engineers and quality inspectors

- Interface with clients, vendors, and certifying agencies on quality-related matters

- Awareness on Valve assembly and Child part level Third Party Inspections (3.2 Type) & its documentation.

- Drive cost-of-poor-quality (COPQ) reduction initiatives and process optimization

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.

- 10- 12 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control in valve or similar heavy engineering manufacturing
