Associate/Executive - Procurement/Purchasing (3-5 yrs)
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Implement company purchasing policies via utilizing site approved supplier list,approval processes and work instructions associated with supplier qualification & registration requirements
- Work with SAP or applicable systems for day to day
- Making Enquiry Letters (RFQ) to existing & new suppliers for quotation
- Sourcing, negotiations, support requests for proposals, purchase order placement and follow ups
- Track all purchasing orders and resolve problems related to delivery, quality and service
- Manage document flow for purchases orders and act as the first level touch for day to day transactional issues with vendors, Store & accounts dept.
- Ensures that re-ordering of stock is carried out on a daily basis as required to maintain adequate stock levels of parts for production & Participates in the creation of forecasts and relates those to production programs and stock required for the daily production. With factory- s
- Recognizes, act or escalates issues with bill of material, master schedule, excess and obsolete inventory to projects, maintenance and purchase depts.
- Maintain procedures that are consistent with the company s ISO 9001:2015 quality standard
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels consistent with inventory management objectives where needed/applicable
- Ensure all Item Planning Data for purchased parts is accurately maintained
