Job Description :
- Planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining occupational health, safety, environmental programs.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable central, state, and industry health, safety and environmental laws, regulations, and standards while supporting the safety culture within the organization.
- Liasoning with TNPCB and Directorate of Industrial Safety & Health officials.
- Planning and maintaining EHS budgets.
- Communicating and driving employee behavior to achieve excellence in the areas of HSE.
- Aiding in the identification, elimination, and control of hazardous conditions, which may lead to injury and/or property damage through the use of safety standards, best management practices, and analytical techniques.
- Conducting regular hazard assessments to identify and evaluate occupational health, safety and environmental conditions. Provide recommendations for corrective action to eliminate minimize and control the potential hazards.
- Management of risk assessments, equipment inspections, personal protective equipment.
- Trainings on health, safety and environmental aspects.
- Conducting periodical safety committee and management review meetings.
