Associate Manager - Procurement - FMCG (4-8 yrs)
- Sustain cost leadership by strategic and aggressive negotiations with vendors.
- Benchmark cost drivers and negotiate price contracts with vendors taking into consideration Market scenario.
- Track and record price changes against Budget and previous buying prices.
- Present tactical buying opportunities to his up-line manager for approvals.
- Works very closely with internal clients to: Identify sourcing needs, cost saving initiatives.
- Handling localization or direct sourcing opportunity overlaps with localization team from procurement & technical to ensure un-interrupted supplies.
- Conduct regular supplier review meetings to address routine issues.
- Implement short & long term sourcing strategies to get the best economic value for the Enterprise.
- Support Planning function at factories in their relation with suppliers.
