Associate Manager - Quality - FMCG (5-8 yrs)
This role involves driving robustness in quality systems and processes to ensure that high quality and safe products are produced in accordance with company, regulatory requirements and consumer expectations.
- He shall manage a team of quality professionals to ensure customer satisfaction and consistency in quality across the value chain.
- Expected to add tremendous value in building culture towards quality improvement, problem solving, innovation by building strong capability in the team and extended associates.
Qualification & Experience :
- M Sc Chemistry or BE/B Tech Chemical (Post Graduation preferred)
- Minimum Relevant Experience of 5 years
- Strong understanding of Quality management processes, Excellence processes, 5S, TPM - QM and Lean etc.
- Understanding of practical application of statistical tools
- On-going data analysis of product and process outputs for early detection, RCA and CAPA, to prevent quality issues, reduce COPQ and identify improvement opportunities
- Drive Vendor Quality assurance system and ensure consistency in quality of supplies of RM & PM Vendors by periodic tracking and auditing for compliance.
- Conducting Internal Quality Audit at Marico & Subcontract locations, CVMS Audits at Vendor Locations
- Ensure first time right quality in NPD/new pack mfg through rigor in Tech transfer /quality systems & processes.
- Drive Lean & TPM journey at In-house and vendor location
- Building up capability of Quality Pillar team in terms of QMS systems/Statistical tools through continuous training and mentoring.
- Ensure adherence and compliance to Regulatory norms as laid down.
- Liaison with Government/ Regulatory official
Skills and Competencies :
- Detail Oriented, Strong Enquiry & Analytical Skills, Basic knowledge on TPM/Statistical/QC Tools, Team Management Skills, Inter-personal skills

Upwards : Plant Manager, Director Quality
Downwards : Sr. Analyst QA, Quality Team
