Asst- Manager - Vehicle Integration

- Team Lead responsible for NPD

- Plan activities and deliverables, guide and motivate a team of engineers to achieve time and cost targets set by management

- Bench marking and finalisation of vehicle spec meeting customer requirements and identifying USPs.

- Performance prediction and Selection of aggregate.

- Conceptualisation, design and development of vehicle architecture.

- Design calculations for various aggregates and Frame analysis.

- Develop new ideas and Provide optimum engineering solutions with various options at competitive cost.

- Vehicle integration in DMU with various systems like engine, transmission, axles, suspension, steering and Truck body and its sub systems.

- Detailed design and part drgs

- Prepare Design Verification and Validation Plans.

- Preparation of SORs, evaluation of proprietary designs and installation sign off.

- Preparation and Release of complete engineering drgs, documents and ECNs

- Provide Support for preparing Manuals for Service and Spare parts.

- Co-ordinating with sub groups & other main functions for getting design inputs and giving timely deliverables.

- Organise Design Reviews at various stages of NPD.

- Upgrade the existing systems and procedures for NPD.

- Co-ordinating with Kamaz, Russia and work with their Team Centre.

Preferable

- Design verification by CAE

- Support field Failure investigation

- Support validation trials.

Person Specification:

- B.Tech(Auto)/BE with good track record.

- 7- 9 yrs of Vehicle integration and chassis frame design Experience in R&D in Heavy Commercial Vehicles

- Proficiency in CAD tools (UG,CATIA)

- Thorough knowledge on NPD process.

- Good interpersonal skills.

Preferable :

- Use of simulation software for frame analysis.

- Knowledge of DFMEA/DFA/DFM/DFS

- Knowledge of truck body engineering.

Salary : INR 6,00,000 - 10,00,000 P.A.
