Job description is as follows :
- Responsible for the development of part & supplier for NPD & Variants of axles & Brakes to meet he project agreed time line.
- Study of drawings & specifications received from engineering & review with supplier for feasibility.
- Based on tech review give feedback to engineering for review of the drawings & specifications through DCRs
- Initiate DVP sign off during development
- Development timing plan, sign off with supplier & align to customer requirement
- Visit ensure during development to ensure First Time Right for NPD. De-risk / alternate and conversion to BOF
- Systematic periodic review and appraise Management about gaps and status of development of supplier / parts.
- Ensure smooth PPAP completion of the parts
- Ensure smooth conversion of trail order parts to schedule orders Monitor sample development, PPAP and establish bulk production and capacity at suppliers end and ensure smooth handing over of the part to logistics
- Ensure production line runs without any shortage
