Role Overview

The Quality Control & Process Excellence professional will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) across all stages of the production and service process. This role focuses on implementing process improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with environmental and quality regulations, and driving operational efficiency to meet customer requirements and optimize service costs.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and maintain the highest standards of QA and QC across production and service operations to meet customer requirements and minimize service costs.

- Monitor end-to-end product development to identify deviations from defined quality standards and take corrective/preventive actions to minimize non-conformities.

- Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives using quality methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, FMEA, Six Sigma, PDCA, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

- Ensure timely compliance with EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) and obtain/renew required quality and environmental certifications for production and manufacturing processes.

- Develop, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines for all critical operations.

- Conduct internal audits, track process deviations, and implement corrective action plans.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, R&D, supply chain, and customer service) to strengthen process control and product reliability.

- Monitor key performance metrics related to process capability, customer complaints, defect rates, and cost of poor quality.

- Lead training sessions and workshops to promote quality culture and process excellence across the organization.

- Stay updated on industry standards, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in quality and environmental management.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

- 5- 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Process Excellence, or Manufacturing Operations (experience in environmental tech, IoT, or analytics domain preferred).

- Strong knowledge of ISO standards, Six Sigma, and EPR compliance frameworks.

- Proficiency in quality tools such as 5S, Kaizen, FMEA, Pareto Analysis, RCA, and SPC.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
