Key Skills Required:

- Expertise in Autodesk Plant 3D (P3D) and related CAD tools.

- Knowledge P3D databases (SQLite / SQL Server).

- Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, EN, ANSI, ISO).

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

P3D Admin - Roles and Responsibilities:

- P3D Project set-up and managing multiuser/multi project with same database (SQLite / SQL Server).

- Establish project folder structures, naming conventions, and access controls.

- Define and configure specs, catalogues, and standards according to project requirements.

- Manage project units, coordinate systems, and plant hierarchy (Area/Unit/Zone).

- Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and roles.

- Control read/write/edit privileges for different disciplines.

- Resolve user access issues.

- Prepare and maintain Piping Material Specs (PMS) and component catalogues.

- Upload and update vendor data for valves, fittings, instruments etc.

- Ensure consistency between 3D model components and project specifications.

- Configure drawing templates, title blocks, and annotation styles.

- Set up isometric extraction settings (ISO style, dimensioning, reports).

- Manage orthographic drawing templates.

- Act as the single point of contact between project disciplines and IT support for P3D.

- Coordinate with project leads, IT for smooth execution.
