Autocad/Solidage Designer (2-5 yrs)
About Job Role
An AutoCAD/SolidWorks Designer creates detailed 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, and schematics using CAD software. These designs support engineering, architecture, manufacturing, or product development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Interpret project specifications and translate them into technical drawings
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to refine designs
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback and design changes
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Maintain organized documentation of design files and revisions
- Conduct simulations and design validations (especially in SolidWorks)
- Support manufacturing or construction teams with design-related queries
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks software
- Strong understanding of mechanical or architectural design principles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Experience with 3D modeling, assemblies, and design tables
- Attention to detail and spatial reasoning
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering, Architecture, or Design
Experience: 2- 5 years in CAD design roles
Certifications AutoCAD or SolidWorks certification (preferred)
