Automation Engineer (4-6 yrs)
An established industrial automation organization is seeking skilled Automation Engineers to support execution of complex automation projects across manufacturing and process environments. The role involves end-to-end project engineering responsibilities, from design and programming to site commissioning and handover.
- The Automation Engineer will be responsible for PLC, drives, and SCADA programming, ensuring systems meet technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements. The role includes on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, testing, and performance optimization of automation solutions. Candidates will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality benchmarks, and cost objectives.
- The position requires close coordination with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and clients, to ensure smooth project execution. The Automation Engineer will also support project planning, documentation, and reporting while maintaining strong control over execution milestones. Team leadership is a key component, with responsibility for guiding and supervising a team of three to four engineers, allocating tasks, monitoring performance, and providing technical mentorship.
